Diesel price up slightly

After jumping more than 5 cents last week, the national average retail price of a gallon of diesel increased one-half cent this week, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Most regions reported small increases, while three regions – the East Coast, Lower Atlantic and Midwest – had tiny dips of less than a penny. All regions remained above $3 a gallon, from the Lower Atlantic at $3.033 to California at $3.228.
