Trucking expo planned for uDrove bowl game

UDrove LLC will host a transportation expo during pre-game activities for the uDrove Humanitarian Bowl football game on Dec. 18 in Boise, Idaho.

The expo, which starts at 11 a.m. on game day, will include Lisa Kelly, trucker on the History Channel’s Ice Road Truckers and IRT: Deadliest Roads, signing autographs. Lindsay Lawler and her country music band will perform and MeRV, a traveling Medical Resource Vehicle that screens for sleep apnea, diabetes and high blood pressure, will be on hand.

Also appearing will an American Trucking Associations Share the Road truck and two of the America’s Road Team drivers. Exhibitors will include Fikes Truck Line, Internet Truckstop, May Trucking, Healthy Trucking Association, Trucker Buddy International and Women in Trucking Association.

Also at the football bowl game, Shawn Hubbard, a driver with Ruan Transport, will receive the Truckload Carriers Association’s 2010 Highway Angel of the Year award during a special ceremony.
