GATS 2002 will be held Sept. 6-8 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas. Organizers say more than 35,000 industry professionals from 50 states and 30 countries visited the show in 2001, making it the second most attended trucking show in the industry.
Although planning is still in the early stages, GATS 2002 will again encompass every class of truck in the industry, along with Overdrive‘s indoor Pride and Polish truck beauty show, seminar programs and other features. New for GATS 2002 will be the OEM Supplier Pavilion, along with the New Product Showcase. Both new areas, along with the Commercial Work Truck Pavilion introduced last year, provide exhibitors and attendees with one location for related displays concerning a specific market.

Affected trucks include model year 2008-2018 Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 4700, 4900, 5700 and 6900 trucks. DTNA says after hard brake applications, the brake light pressure switch may not activate the brake lights with the light application of the brake pedal.
