AfterShokz Air deliver quality sound through your cheekbones

Updated Nov 14, 2020

You don’t necessarily have to have something in or on your ears to hear calls from your smartphone or listen to your favorite music.

AfterShokz Air wireless headphones use bone conduction technology and an open fit design to deliver sound through your cheekbones. This ensures your ears remain completely open to the sounds around you. The company says transducers send mini vibrations through the cheekbones and deliver sound directly to the inner ear, bypassing the eardrum.

The wraparound weightless frame is designed to stay in place. The Air delivers six hours of music and calls, while a sweatproof design ensures they work well no matter what task you undertake while wearing them.

The Air:

  • has a flexible fit for unnoticeable all-day comfort and stability
  • features Bluetooth V4.2 connectivity and convenient multipoint pairing compatible with iOS and Android Bluetooth-ready smartphones or tablets and Mac and PC computers and laptops
  • delivers six hours of continuous calls or music on a single charge, and 20 days of standby time; charges in two hours
  • has effective noise-canceling mics
