Great-Looking Rigs

PROMOTIONAL TRAINER
The driver training program at Spoon River College in Canton, Ill., owns this 1972 International cabover, but Director Bob Walter keeps it and its 250-hp Cummins engine clean and running smoothly. The truck is used for promotional events and is sometimes rolled out for CDL training when other Spoon River trucks are in service.

A DREAM COME TRUE
When he started driving with his father in Mexico at age 14, Alejandro Guerrero Jr. never dreamed he one day would own this 1989 Freightliner FLD120 with a 425-hp Caterpillar. Guerrero, who now lives in Romeoville, Ill., hauls produce on a weekly run to Texas.
