Love’s Travel Stops now has bulk diesel exhaust fluid at more than half of its locations.
Love’s is on track to have bulk DEF available at all travel stops by the end of the year, the company says. Of Love’s 230 locations, 124 now offer bulk DEF at 580 lanes on diesel islands. When the project is complete, drivers will have access to more than 1,300 lanes of bulk DEF throughout Love’s network.
“Love’s has placed a heavy focus on the rollout of bulk DEF this year because we understand the importance of offering this convenience to our customers,” says Jon Archard, Director of Fleet Sales at Love’s. “The investment we’ve made to quickly add DEF pumps to our locations ultimately saves time and money for professional drivers.”
Affected tractors are equipped with an automated Eaton UltraShift Plus or Eaton Advantage Transmission with right hand stalk shifter. In the affected trucks, the display on the instrument panel can indicate “N” when the shifter is set into “D” or “R,” causing the truck not to move.
