If you made it to the Mid-America Trucking Show in late March, you might have noticed something at the show truck lot: Overdrive’s Pride & Polish is back as the presenter of the Paul K. Young Memorial Truck Beauty Championship, one of the industry’s largest competitions.
Thanks to an arrangement with the team that managed the former Stars & Stripes events, Pride & Polish now has five venues and a new website with registration information, www.prideandpolish.net. The four other shows in addition to MATS are last month’s 75 Chrome Shop Truck Show in Wildwood, Fla., and these:

It’s great to be back in Louisville, Ky., for Mid-America. That’s where, in 1990, Overdrive’s Pride & Polish was the first truck beauty show to be held in conjunction with a trucking convention. The entrants get more stunning and innovative every year, as you can tell by our cover photo and the others starting on Page 24.
