Tennessee Department of Transportation contract crews will close lanes on Interstate 65 in both directions this weekend to perform bridge repair work.
I-65 from mile marker 16.7 to mile marker 21.6 will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning March 18 at 8 p.m. The lanes will reopen no later than March 21 at 6 a.m.
During this weekend’s lane closures, workers will remove and replace deteriorated concrete on four bridges located within the project area.
Affected trucks include model year 2008-2018 Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 4700, 4900, 5700 and 6900 trucks. DTNA says after hard brake applications, the brake light pressure switch may not activate the brake lights with the light application of the brake pedal.
