The ramp from westbound I-70 to southbound I-25 in Denver will be completely closed from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for the next two weeks as the Colorado Department of Transportation replaces bridge expansion joints.
During the ramp closure, drivers can take westbound I-70 to Pecos Street to access eastbound I-70 and then take eastbound I-70 to southbound I-25.
In addition to the ramp closures, single lane closures on eastbound I-70 over I-25 will take place from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Delays are possible and alternate routes are advised, CDOT said.
This project is scheduled to be complete by the end of October.
Affected trucks include model year 2008-2018 Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 4700, 4900, 5700 and 6900 trucks. DTNA says after hard brake applications, the brake light pressure switch may not activate the brake lights with the light application of the brake pedal.
