Lisa Kelly on last night’s episode of “Ice Road Truckers” (History Channel photo)“Ice Road Truckers” veterans Lisa Kelly, Darrell Ward and Art Burke faced a bevy of problems in the latest episode of the History Channel’s trucking series, according to Overdrive sister site Truckers News Editor David Hollis in his weekly recap.
Ward had to take a road less traveled due to hotter-than-normal temperatures making the ice roads impassable. Kelly broke one of the cardinal rules of trucking on the ice roads and turned off her truck to assess a problem under the hood. Burke made a decision to cross an ice road that may or may not have been able to handle the weight of his truck.
IRT newcomer Steph Custance took the second part of her driving test with Polar Enterprises’ Mark Kohaykewych, and even though she was “definitely green,” Kohaykewych gave her a shot.
