Making it his

Steve Bright of Annville, Ky., has worked hard to turn his black 1999 Freightliner Classic into a ride truly his own. Now his truck, powered by a 500-hp Detroit, boasts a 500-watt stereo, refrigerator, hardwood floors, custom bumper and mud flaps, chrome dash and more. Bright uses his highly customized ride to transport auto parts out of Georgetown, Ky.

Tractor-pulling tractor

Doyle Johnson of Paulding, Ohio, is proud of his 1996 Kenworth T600, but instead of entering his rig into truck shows, he uses it to haul his restored farm tractors to tractor shows. Johnson’s 455-hp Caterpillar gets him there, pulling a 1996 FeatherLite dropdeck trailer. When he’s not on the road with his restored tractors, Johnson hauls grain in his 2000 Wilson grain trailer.
