The Kenly 95 Petro truck stop in Kenly, N.C. is undergoing renovations that will expand on its existing space with the addition of more retail showroom space and enlarging the bathroom facilities.
The bathroom upgrades will include two sides for both the men’s and women’s restrooms, allowing for easier access for cleaning. Temporary facilities have been brought in for use while the bathrooms are under construction. The bathrooms will be completed by March 24, Kenly 95 Petro General Manager Ernie Brame said.
The showroom expansion will include the addition of a full size tractor on a turntable in the front corner, as well as the addition of a full size tractor trailer. The truck stop plans to expand on driver supplies, grocery, its convenience area and more. Construction was recently completed on Taco Bell and Pizza Hut Express, both now open at the truck stop.
The truck stop is part of the Iowa 80 Group and is the largest on the East Coast.
