Kenworth announced Friday that the Jost JSK37USB fifth wheel now comes standard on the Kenworth T680, the company’s flagship on-highway tractor.
Kenworth says Jost’s mechanism allows infinite adjustments, compared to notched adjustments. Wear adjustment is maintained with a single adjustment screw. Maintenance and minor rebuilds can also be performed on the Jost fifth wheel without removing it from the chassis, the company says.
The Jost fifth wheel has a 60-pound pull force handle, and the company is offers a five-year warranty on all of its cast ductile iron topplates, Kenworth says.
