KLLM Transport Services (CCJ Top 250, No. 35), a Jackson, Miss.-based refrigerated carrier, announced the largest pay increase in the company’s 53-year history for both company drivers and independent contractors.

Starting Feb. 5, independent and lease-purchase contractors will receive 95 cents per mile with FSC on loaded miles. Depending on their level of experience, solo company drivers will now earn between 38 cents and 50 cents per mile and over-the-road teams earning between 48 cents and 53 cents per mile.
