Love’s adds 157 truck parking spots with new Texas, Kentucky locations

Love’s has opened new locations in Hanson, Kentucky, and Lufkin, Texas.

Love’s Travel Stops announced Thursday it has opened two new locations in Kentucky and Texas.

The Kentucky store, in Hanson near the intersection of State Route 260 and I-69, features 63 truck parking spaces, a Hardee’s restaurant, five showers, laundry facilities and more.

The new location in Lufkin, Texas, is along U.S. Highway 59 North and is the company’s second store in Lufkin. It features an Arby’s restaurant, 94 truck parking spaces, a Love’s Truck Tire Care and more.

After the truck was retired about three years ago, owner Joel Anker had it rebuilt into a show truck. The hard work paid off, with a fifth-place finish in the Limited Mileage -- Bobtail with Miles class at MATS in March.
