The Okmulgee store, located along U.S. Highway 75, is the third Love’s location with an IHOP restaurant. It also features 59 truck parking spaces and five showers.
The Lake location, along I-20 at exit 96 in Mississippi, offers 80 truck parking spaces, seven showers and a Love’s Truck Tire Care center.
Both locations offer RFID cardless fueling, CAT scales and other driver services. The new stores are opening while Love’s is holding its annual campaign to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, in which drivers can choose to purchase a paper balloon for $1, $5 or $20 through the end of September.
Affected trucks include model year 2008-2018 Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 4700, 4900, 5700 and 6900 trucks. DTNA says after hard brake applications, the brake light pressure switch may not activate the brake lights with the light application of the brake pedal.
