Many of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s online services will be down through Sunday night as the agency transitions its systems to a cloud-based system.

The outage started Thursday night, Nov. 17, and will last through Sunday night, Nov. 20. FMCSA says it expects the systems to be back online by Monday, Nov. 21.

FMCSA says the Commercial Drivers License Information System (CDLIS) will be available during the outage, but most driver and fleet services will be offline during the scheduled outage.

The unavailable systems, according to FMCSA, include:

  • CAPRI (Compliance Reviews) Uploads
  • CaseRite Uploads 
  • CSA Outreach
  • DataQs 
  • Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
  • Enforcement Management Information System (EMIS)
  • FMCSA Portal
  • Guard-Electronic Field Operations Training Manual (Guard-eFOTM)(Update Downloads)
  • Information Systems Web site (InfoSys)
  • Licensing and Insurance (L&I)
  • Motor Carrier Management Information System (MCMIS)
  • Medical Review Board (MRB)
  • National Consumer Complaint Database (NCCDB)
  • National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME)
  • Query Central
  • Roadside Inspection Uploads
  • Safety and Fitness Electronic Records (SAFER)
  • SAFETYNET Uploads
  • Sentri (Safety Audit Uploads)
  • Unified Registration System (URS) 

FMCSA says enforcement officials will have access to an list of out-of-service carriers to use during the outage to keep up normal enforcement activities.
