Mother’s Day Convoy to benefit Make-A-Wish for 28th year

The 28th annual Mother’s Day Convoy in Lancaster, Pa., will take place Sunday, May 14. The event set a world record last year for largest truck convoy.

This year’s convoy assembles at the Burle Business Park in Lancaster, Pa., and events get started at 8:30 a.m. Plans call for the convoy to depart the business park at 1:30 p.m., travel to Ephrata, Pa., and return.

In 2016, a total of 590 trucks participated in the convoy, which raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Philadelphia. Last year’s event raised more than $350,000 for the organization.
