The Geotab telematics (including e-logs) provider has released an Apple iOS-compatible version of the MyGeotab app, already available for Android devices. If you run a small fleet and utilize Geotab for logs or other services, the MyGeotab app makes it easier to manage productivity, safety and vehicle status from a mobile phone.

With simple drop-down and swipe features, MyGeotab makes tracking fleet trends in safety, fuel usage, maintenance and more a simple process, the company says.

“The days when a fleet manager is tied to a desktop computer managing fleet performance are long gone,” says Neil Cawse, Geotab CEO. “Now managers need to be able to share data across the team and carry out their job whether in the office, in the field, or at home and on any device. The MyGeotab app makes that easier and quicker to do.”

For fleets with teams managing operations, the app gives all team members the same information at the same time, wherever they are based.

Geotab is an open platform for telematics with more than 600,000 active vehicles leveraging Geotab technology in 70 countries. Last October, Volvo and Mack announced a partnership with the company to enable their software in Mack and Volvo trucks.
