Pilot Flying J adds three new travel centers in West Texas

Pilot Flying J announced this week it is expanding its West Texas footprint with the opening of three new travel centers in the Permian Basin region.

The first of the new locations opened on April 14 in Orla, Texas, along U.S. Highway 285. Another location is set to open on Saturday, April 21, in Kermit, Texas, along Texas Highway 302, followed by the company’s second location in Pecos, Texas, on South Bickley Avenue in the coming weeks.

The Orla location features a PJ Fresh, a Dunkin Donuts Express, 50 truck parking spaces, six diesel fuel lanes, three showers and more. The Kermit location offers truckers a PJ Fresh, Dunkin Donuts Express, 25 truck parking spaces, six diesel lanes and three showers. Finally, the Pecos location offers a PJ Fresh, Dunkin Donuts Express, nine truck parking spots, five diesel lanes, three showers and public laundry.

In addition, PFJ will be renovating its existing location in Pecos, which opened in 1989. There will be new restrooms, enhancements to food and the deli, and additions to retail including a Bass Pro Shops. This location offers 200 truck parking spaces, 12 diesel lanes and nine showers.

The three new locations brings PFJ’s total number of Texas stores to 76, the most in any state.
