We are running through the videos from the No. 30 to the No. 1 most-viewed Pride & Polish video. Plans for a 2020 event are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Up this week at No. 13 is the “Lactose Limousine,” a 2013 Peterbilt 389 that won Best of Show Working Combo at the 2013 Great American Trucking Show Pride & Polish. The truck pulled a 2007 Walker milk tanker.

Custom hardwood floors and a 1950s-style paint job showcase a classic look, while a cowhide interior displays a passion for dairy.

The truck was painted at Peterbilt of Garden City, Kan. Its Caterpillar C15 was upgraded by Performance Diesel Inc. to 680 horsepower. Otherwise, all the renovation was down at the Mies & Sons shop, led by chief mechanic Mike Brandt, but involving Mies family members, as well, Mies said at the time.
