The filter is an activated carbon filter with a slight electro-positive charge, making it attractive to chemicals and impurities. As the water passes over the positively charged carbon surface, the negative ions of the contaminants are drawn to the surface of the carbon granules.
Carbon filters require little maintenance. Bobble’s carbon-based filter removes organic contaminants from regular municipal tap water and meets or exceeds NSF International Standard 42 for chlorine, taste and odor reduction.
For best results, change your filter after two months or 40 gallons/150 litres. Do not use where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality. Every filter equates to 300 single-serve bottles.
The Bobble is available in three sizes – 34 oz/1 L, 18.5 oz/550 mL and 13 oz/385 mL – with many colors for filters, including multi-colored filters intended for children.
Affected trucks include model year 2008-2018 Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 4700, 4900, 5700 and 6900 trucks. DTNA says after hard brake applications, the brake light pressure switch may not activate the brake lights with the light application of the brake pedal.
