Schneider raising van pay

schneiderSchneider National announced it increased pay for its Van Truckload division drivers by between 8 and 13 percent in mileage and bonuses. Schneider (ranked No. 7 on CCJ’s Top 250 list) also recently raised pay for its tanker drivers and made account-by-account increases for most of its dedicated account drivers.

“Our business is growing, creating tremendous opportunities for both solo and team drivers,” said Dave Geyer, senior vice president of Schneider’s Van Truckload division. “Strong customer demand is providing record miles for drivers to maximize their available hours. This, combined with increased pay rates and weekly time-at-home, provides some of the best driving jobs in the industry.”
