I am a mom, wife and a grandma. My family is everything to me! I started driving OTR in 2003 because I wanted to give my kids the best life possible. I’ve seen a vast majority of our beautiful country from my driver’s seat. I love running the Southern states, just love the warm feeling of the “Southern Hospitality.” This job taught me a lot about myself, to take care of myself when I was all I had, to be strong, to show my daughters women can stand on their own to feet. I walk with my shoulders back and my head up because I am proud of who I am. I am part of a very large number of people who keep this country running. I like to cook so on my weekends home I usually cook big meals so I have healthy leftovers to bring along during the week. I do my best to get up everyday and fix my hair and to look professional and my best. I have a huge heart and absolutely love the pay it forward program, simply buying someone a cup of coffee could change a persons day and let’s face it a little more kindness in our society is needed. My family is everything to me, without them and their love I’m nothing. I enjoy camping, bowling, any summer activity as long as I’m outside soaking up the warmth. My advice to any female wanting to drive: Never give up, no matter how hard it gets, you can do it but it takes time. Always stand up straight with your shoulders back like the Queen you are. Hard work pays off. We are a family out here, yea we may bicker but we are still family!
