Steve Corbett out of Alexandria, Louisiana, owns this 2005 Peterbilt 379 and has been leased on with Landstar Ranger for 15 years. He typically hauls medium-sized equipment, military equipment and more. The rig sports a 550-hp Cat C15 with an 18-speed Eaton. The truck was built with a 315-inch cab and chassis at the factory and was then fitted with a 132-inch ARI sleeper and Onan generator. Corbett bought the truck in 2014 and named it “Big Bertha” because, he says, “it takes 57 acres to turn her around.” The rig currently has 935,000 miles.
