Tennessee ranked the top state to run a small trucking business in the Merchant Cash USA Poll.Tennessee is the best states to own a small trucking company or be a driver and California is the worst, according to a recent survey of 3,287 individuals in trucking.
Alternative financing organization Merchant Cash USA poll questions including overnight parking costs, state fees and regulations and how friendly states were to drivers.
Washington was the second best state for trucking, followed by Oklahoma, Texas and Indiana.
Virginia ranked as the second worst state for the industry, followed by Ohio, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
