After losing legal appeal, CARB is voiding some compliance alternatives added in 2014
The time has expired for legal appeals to save CARBâs 2014-introduced âcompliance alternativesâ to the engine upgrades and retrofits required by its in-use diesel regs. Emails attempting to clarify the situation have been going out this month to truck owners with CARB-registered trucks still taking advantage of one or more of those alternatives.
