Agency stops enforcing break requirement for short haulers
FMCSA has announced it is no longer enforcing the mandatory 30-minute break required by the current hours-of-service rule in light of a court ruling last week that vacated that portion of the rule.

Court upholds all of hours rule for long-haul drivers
The entirety of the current hours of service rule was upheld for long-haul drivers. The only portion of the rule vacated by the court was the required 30-minute break for short-haul drivers.
