California-reared HHG hauler keeps legacy of father, Don Morgan, alive with this T600
Itâs a sharp truck, this 1992 Kenworth T600, Detroit 60 Series-powered and with a 149-inch ICT sleeper owner-operator Montgomery Morganâs father, Don Morgan, had put on when the rig was new. Since Don passed in 2001, his sonâs kept the rig working hard, despite his native Californiaâs outlawing it some years back.

J.D. Howard: Short hauls and frequent home time with Midwest asphalt
Four years ago, owner-operator J.D. Howard joined Dan Rattaâs Marshallville, Ohio-based small liquid-asphalt-hauling operation, Ratta Trucking. At that time, he paid around $65,000 for a new 42-foot 7,500-gallon all-aluminum insulated 2015 Polar high-heat asphalt tanker.
