CargoNet recommends truck drivers avoid leaving cargo unattended in high-theft areas such as Los Angeles, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, Atlanta and Miami. The firm also suggests parking in high-security locations with security devices, secure fences and high-visibility lighting.
