Penske wins Kroger contract
Penske Logistics has won the contract to operate and manage Kroger’s 600,000-square-foot refrigerated food distribution facility located in West Shelbyville, Indiana. Penske officially began operating the facility July 21 and has hired the 816 existing workers at the facility, including those represented by Teamsters Local 135, the company said.
