Michigan police ticket 175 truckers in two-week unsafe driving crackdown
Officers also issued 878 citations to passenger drivers for various violations. Officers were looking for violations by both passenger vehicles and trucks such as improper lane use, careless and reckless driving, speeding, following too closely and failure to yield the right-of-way.

Michigan police targeting unsafe truckers, car drivers in two-week enforcement campaign
Michigan State Police’s Ticketing Aggressive Cars and Trucks (TACT) enforcement campaign will focus on aggressive driving by passenger vehicles and trucks along I-94 between Jackson and Taylor. Officers will be looking for improper lane use, speeding and more on June 3-7 and June 10-14.

Michigan to expand roadside saliva drug testing pilot program statewide
After the year-long Preliminary Oral Fluid Analysis pilot program conducted from Nov. 8, 2017, through Nov. 8, 2018, in five counties, MSP’s Oral Fluid Roadside Analysis Pilot Program Committee recommended that the pilot be expanded statewide for another year to gather more results and data.
