Drivers can purchase a loyalty savings card through a new partnership between Boss Truck Shops, a subsidiary of Bosselman Inc., and Wingfoot Truck Care Centers, a subsidiary of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. The Maxxcare card rewards three points per dollar spent on preventive maintenance services and one point per dollar for other repairs at participating locations. A new savings card is available for use at Travel Centers of America, Petro Truck Stops, Comdata Fuel locations and Wingfoot Truck Care Centers, freight factoring service Freight Capital announced.  Freight Capital clients factoring their freight bills can opt to deposit funds to the so-called FLASH card, which can be used anywhere a debit card is accepted, company spokeswoman Melissa Sistar said. Crete Carrier driver Dave Anderson has been named Trucker Buddy Driver of the Month for May, the nonprofit outreach Trucker Buddy International announced. Detroit Diesel to honor truckers

Truckers may tour the Detroit manufacturing plant, have lunch and get free merchandise as part of a driver appreciation promotion for the month of August, Detroit Diesel Corp. announced. CDL holders should sign up 48 hours in advance and can register at Detroit Diesel.
