NACFE: Lower viscosity oils can increase fuel economy
Mike Roeth, NACFE executive director, said the research for the report revealed that 5W-30 and 10W-30 engine oils, either the current CJ-4 or the upcoming CK-4, can replace the commonly used 15W-40 oils used in many trucks while also increasing fuel savings.
