New Mexico-based heavy-haul fleet to carry U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree later this year
Artesia, New Mexico-based Wilbanks Trucking Services has been selected as the trucking company that will haul the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree across the country to Washington, D.C. This year’s tree will make its way to the U.S. Capitol from Carson National Forest in New Mexico behind a Kenworth W990.

The tree is being hauled across the country by Central Oregon Truck Company. It has already made 11 stops since leaving Sweet Home, Oregon, on Nov. 9 and will make 12 more before it arrives at the U.S. Capitol on Monday, Nov. 26.
