Werner found negligent in fatal 2017 crash, ordered to pay $40.5 million in damages
Attorneys for Kathryn Armijo’s family alleged that Werner’s driver training practices led to the crash, stating that “through its own inadequate operations and training programs for its student drivers via Roadmaster Drivers School, [Werner] had a systematic disregard for basic safety policies and training of new drivers.”
