Drivers attending the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas next month will be able to apply for their own operating authority with the help of TBS Factoring Service.
TBS will be in Booth No. 1644 at the show helping drivers apply for MC/DOT numbers and BOC-3 authorities, waiving its normal service fee. Drivers will still be required to pay the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s $300 permanent authority fee.
“America needs more drivers,” says Jennifer Fogg, president of TBS Factoring Service. “This was a way we could make a difference by helping to create the next generation of independent owner-operators.”
GATS will be held Aug. 23-25 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in downtown Dallas. Registration for GATS is available for free online.
Those who register before July 31 will be entered into the Great GATS Giveaway for a chance to win one of three prizes. The third prize includes two-night accommodations, two GATS VIP preview passes, a $100 pre-paid card and a $25 GATS show store voucher.
