Counting down to No. 1 in Overdrive‘s Top Christmas Songs polling, today’s entry is a classic of early rock ‘n’ roll, the 1957-recorded “Jingle Bell Rock,” made popular that year by singer Bobby Helms. The tune was penned in a collaboration of Texas ad writer James Ross Boothe and Massachusetts-born P.R. man Joseph Carleton Beal.
