Love’s opens new Texas location

Love’s Travel Stops announced this week it opened a new stop in Deer Park, Texas, at Highway 225 and Independence Parkway. The location features 70 truck parking spaces, McDonald’s and Chester’s Chicken restaurants, and a tire care center open 24/7. Bulk DEF will be available at the pump on all diesel lanes, along with RFID cardless fueling technology. The Iowa 80 Truckstop in Walcott, Iowa, has been nominated by the Quad Cities Convention and Visitor’s Bureau as the 8th Wonder of the World in Virtual Tourist’s current online contest. Voting is open until September 30. Entries have been received from all over the world, the truck stop reports, and anyone is eligible to vote once a day between June 3 and Sept. 30.
