Ruan Transport driver named Highway Angel

Ruan Transport company driver Shawn Hubbard has been named a Highway Angel for rescuing a man trapped inside a burning car last Nov. 13, the Truckload Carriers Association announced. Hubbard was heading east on I-60 in California in the early morning when he saw the wrecked car with flames shooting from it at rest against a high embankment. For four years, Button has sent post cards monthly from states he passes through to Carol Bratman's students at Memorial Elementary School in Paramus, N.J. Fleets planning to enter the 2010 Volvo Trucks Safety Awards contest should do so by the May 30 deadline, the truck maker said.
