The Hendrickson Aero Clad bumper is made of stainless clad aluminum and is a production option on the International ProStar tractor. Aero Clad is a fixed-mount bumper that provides up to 2.75 inches of improved ground clearances and has a bright mirror finish 10 times thicker than chrome and resists corrosion, peeling, cracking, pitting and fading, the company says. The bumper comes as part of an optional factory-installed metal bumper package on VNL trucks and also is available for retrofits exclusively through Volvo and Mack dealers.
