TireStamp TireVirgil TPMS

Updated Aug 13, 2012

TireStamp has announced the integration of a new battery technology into its trailer tire-monitoring product, TireVigil TPMS. The new battery utilizes a chemistry that provides longer operation life, faster charging, extended operation and improved safety, the company says. The new battery is expected to last an average of 10 years with TireVigil TPMS hourly wake up intervals. It also recharges quickly when the trailer is hooked to a tractor and power is taken from the trailer’s light system. The battery has an extended temperature operating range that allows it to be charged down to minus 22 degrees F.
