Lawson, Missouri-based owner-operator Gary Jones wanted to do something with his 1999 Peterbilt 379 EXHD that hasn’t been done before. That desire resulted in the airbrushed smoky flames that cover his rig and trailer.

The truck’s name, Excessive Behavior II, comes from Gary’s wife, Devery, who says Gary is excessive when it comes to the couple’s trucks. Devery drives a similarly-airbrushed 1995 Peterbilt 379 named Excessive Behavior.

As he explains in the video above, between Gary’s truck and the 2019 Globe RGN he uses to haul oversized freight, including equipment and machine tools, there is more than 800 hours of airbrushing put into it. That’s in addition to the more than 400 hours of airbrushing put into Devery’s truck. Jones Custom & Collision out of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, handled the paint work on both trucks.

The truck is outfitted with Talladega Fiberglass products, including front and rear fenders and more.

Inside the rig, the dash, doors and floors are also airbrushed to go along with white leather with black stitching ceiling panels.

Gary and Devery both had their trucks on display at the PKY Truck Beauty Championship at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville in March. Gary’s Excessive Behavior II earned a first-place trophy in Working Combo Custom Paint & Graphics and a second-place in Working Combo. Devery’s ’95 Pete earned a first-place trophy in Working Bobtail Custom Paint & Graphics.
