Held annually at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, the event and parking are free. There will be concerts each of the three days of the event. On Thursday, Dani Lynn Howe will open for Clare Dunn, and local band North of 40 will open for country star Sammy Kershaw on Friday. Highway Angel Spokesperson Lindsay Lawler will perform Saturday afternoon.

In addition to the concerts, the Jamboree will feature the annual Super Truck Beauty Contest, an antique truck display, an Iowa pork chop cookout, Trucker Olympics, carnival games, fireworks displays, a 100th birthday party for Iowa 80 Trucking Museum’s 1916 Mack AC and more. A full schedule of events can be seen here.

“The Walcott Truckers Jamboree is about celebrating America’s truckers and the hard work they do while hauling everything we need,” says Iowa 80 owner Delia Moon Meier. “We are proud and honored to serve professional drivers and thankful that we’ve been allowed to do so for the past 52 years.”
