Bright Wright, a 23-year-old owner-operator of Montrose, Colo., hauls limestone to coal mines with his ’96 Pete 379. He bought the truck when he was just 19, after working “underground,” he says, in gold mines in Nevada. “I saved all my money and bought my truck and went to work for Colorado Lime.” He and his father are both leased to the company, and they haul together, Wright says. He’s added an aftermarket visor, bumper and grille to the exterior and hardwood flooring to the interior. He wants to stretch the truck to a 320-in. wheelbase, too, he says. The truck’s pictured here in front of the Dillon Pinnacles and Blue Mesa Reservoir in Colorado.
