XPO Logistics this week honored 19 of its less-than-truckload drivers for surpassing three million accident-free miles and announced its LTL division’s drivers have surpassed one billion miles with no preventable accidents.

The company says it has more than 12,500 drivers in its LTL division and began tracking consecutive accident-free miles in April 2012. By May of this year, the company says 890 of these drivers achieved either one, two or three million accident-free miles. Those 890 drivers account for the one billion safe miles.

The 19 drivers recognized for exceeding three million safe driving miles have an average tenure with the company of 30 years.
