A receptionist’s memories: Overdrive in Hollywood

Some readers may remember that Overdrive was once headquartered in Los Angeles and very near Hollywood’s activities.

Former Overdrive receptionist Bonnie Robinson writes about her memories of the 1970s when she worked at the magazine. You can read her account in the Readers Remember section of OverdriveRetro.

And while you’re there, browse the feature about a North Carolinian’s first trip from Texas with a load of tomatoes that ended up in something like a salsa on the highway. The feature, courtesy of Old Time Trucks magazine, is part of a collaboration between the longtime antique truck magazine based in Richmond, Ind., and OverdriveRetro. You’ll be hearing more about it in upcoming weeks.
