| July 14, 2011

The second season of the Speed Channel’s American Trucker premieres tonight, July 14, at 10 p.m. EDT with host Robb Mariani visiting trucking hub Joplin, Mo., and covering the destruction caused by a killer tornado on May 22 and truckers’ volunteer efforts after the storm.

Later this season, Mariani will tape an episode at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas in August, acting as a judge of the show’s Pride & Polish event.

Mariani is interviewed for the cover story of the July issue of Overdrive sister publication Truckers News here.
