Navistar and the Women In Trucking Association named Rebecca Brewster, president and chief operating officer of the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) the third annual Influential Woman In Trucking. The announcement came at the Truckload Carriers Association’s convention in Las Vegas, held at the Wynn this week. The award seeks to recognize women in the industry who make or influence key decisions, have a proven record of responsibility and who mentor and serve as a role model for other women. Brewster is an ex-officio member of the Transportation Research Board Executive Committee and an active member of its Truck and Bus Safety Committee.
