Thermo King announced the development of an Electronic Throttling Valve, designed to reduce fuel costs, extend maintenance intervals and improve temperature control performance on its T-series single-temp truck units with scroll compressors. Maxwell Technologies will market a device later this year called an ultra-capacitor that will replace one or two truck batteries and help start a truck, the company announced Thursday, March 31, in Louisville. Chevron Products Co. introduced an extended service interval grease called Delo Grease ESI March 31 in Louisville, Ky. Jim Gambill, manager of direct marketing, said, “Many fleets have gone to extended drain intervals.
